LH (Luteinizing hormone) is an indicator of a ovulation
There is a hormone called LH (Luteinizing hormone), which is always present in the body in small quantity but surges around the middle of the menstrual cycle when it is released by the pituary gland in a bigger quantity than at any other time in the menstrual cycle. The surge lasts for up to 3 days, and this is the time when a woman is likely to ovulate. Most women ovulate 36 hours after the surge. The surge in LH (Luteinizing hormone) is evident first in the blood, and then, some 8-12 hours later, it is detected in the urine. Ovulation Predictor tests predict with a 99% accuracy when an LH (Luteinizing hormone) surge is taking place which is an indicator of a potential ovulation.

Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the Hepatitis C virus. If left undetected, Hepatitis C can lead to serious medical complications. Even while a person feels healthy, the virus may be causing permanent liver damage leading to scarring (cirrhosis), liver cancer, liver failure or death. Exposure to the Hepatitis C virus occurs when a person comes into direct contact with the infected blood of another person. Detection of Hepatitis C before serious damage has occurred can lead to appropriate treatment and management.
Over 4 million people in the united states are infected. Most are unaware they have the Hepatitis C virus. Experts agree it is important to be tested if you may have been exposed to the Hepatitis C virus through blood transfusion prior to july 1992, a contaminated needle, or other possible exposure to infected blood or other bodily fluids. Some experts suggest testing if you have had multiple sex partners in your lifetime, or have had any sexually transmitted disease.
